Three airports, one destination

Three airports serve the New Hampshire area: Manchester (NH), Portland (ME), and Logan (Boston). Below are the pluses and minuses of each of the airports- good luck!

1). Manchester Boston Regional Airport, Manchester, NH
87.9 miles to The Brass Heart Inn, driving time 1 hr. 53 min. (directions)
It's called the "Boston Regional Airport," but it's an hour from Boston... the airport actually serves New Hampshire better than any other.

ADVANTAGES: Closer to The Brass Heart Inn than the Boston airport and if you get the right fare from Southwest, it'll be well priced. Few delays, unlike congested Logan Airport (Boston).

DISADVANTAGES: If you're flying in on Friday or Saturday, the weekend Massachusetts traffic to the Chocorua region may double the duration of the drive.

2). Portland International Jetport, Portland, ME
60.7 miles to The Brass Heart Inn, driving time 1 hr. 48 min. (directions)
Even though it's in Maine, it's actually a little bit closer to Chocorua than the Manchester Airport. Plus, the L.L. Bean superstore is in Portland, open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year- just in case you forgot a wedding gift and want to get us that hunting rifle we always wanted.

ADVANTAGES: "Close" to Chocorua and without the Massachusetts weekend warrior traffic. Small airport, so no delays.

DISADVANTAGES: Likely more expensive than either Boston or Manchester.

3). Logan International Airport, Boston, MA
120 miles to The Brass Heart Inn, driving time 2hrs. 36 min. (directions)
It's further away from the wedding than either of the other options. So why fly to Boston? It may be cheaper and, of course, chowder.

ADVANTAGES: Higher traffic might equal cheaper flights and more non-stops (especially from California), than Manchester, or Portland.

DISADVANTAGES: An extra hour of driving; plus, depending on when you fly in, traffic could be rough.
